We enjoyed a wonderful time of celebration as we gathered together at the home of Brian & Angela Rice to experience the first baptism of Awaken Community Church! Meeting at 11am Sunday morning we all enjoyed eating and just hanging out. We then made our way outside to the back yard to gather around the baptismal (hot tub!).
After a brief explanation of the history and purpose of baptism, Jennifer Lawrence joined Pastor Brian in the water to be the very first to be baptized at Awaken Communit
