Easter At Awaken!

Last night at our Sunday Night Gathering we enjoyed over 50 people joining us to celebrate and remember the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! It was an awesome time with great food and fellowship (which included a FULL dinner!) to start.

Joey was the Master behind the coffee bar at Awaken Coffee spinning up some great tasting Italian Soda's! I believe Pastor Brian had three drinks of his own! No wonder he was running all around the place!

Pastor Brian centered on John 3:16 and challenged us to not allow what Christ did for us to go to waste. Each of us who took Pastor Brian's challenge lit a small candle as a symbol that we would be more of a light within our homes and families, at our places of work and within the community we live. After lighting candles we participated in Communion, then ended the night with worship led by Mat and his team.

c. Judy, Jen and everyone who helped with organizing and serving dinner.
d. Mat, Alex, Josiah, and Nathan with leading worship.

g. Alanna with the Welcome Table.
h. All who helped with the overhead projector during worship.


I'm sure we're forgetting to thank someone because it takes all of us to make our Sunday Night Gatherings a complete success. So..THANKS TO EVERYONE! Below are a few more pictures and video's from last night - enjoy!
