Awaken's Menu for the Month of May:

May 3rd: Tomato Soup - Grilled Cheese Sandwiches - Desert
If someone wants to bring- Cheese and we need someone to bring Bread

May 10th- Potato Soup - Salad & Desert
If someone wants to bring- Bread - Butter - & Desert

May 17th: Breakfast Burritos (Meat - & Vegetarian) & Desert
If someone can bring - Pre Shredded Cheese - Sour Cream - Strawberrys & Banna's

May 24th: Spagetti & Desert
If someone can bring - Bread - Butter - Salad(all ingredients must be put aside)

May 31st: Chili & Desert
If someone can bring - Sour Cream - Desert

Our Launch and Easter Celebration at Awaken!

Easter At Awaken!

Last night at our Sunday Night Gathering we enjoyed over 50 people joining us to celebrate and remember the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! It was an awesome time with great food and fellowship (which included a FULL dinner!) to start.

Joey was the Master behind the coffee bar at Awaken Coffee spinning up some great tasting Italian Soda's! I believe Pastor Brian had three drinks of his own! No wonder he was running all around the place!

Pastor Brian centered on John 3:16 and challenged us to not allow what Christ did for us to go to waste. Each of us who took Pastor Brian's challenge lit a small candle as a symbol that we would be more of a light within our homes and families, at our places of work and within the community we live. After lighting candles we participated in Communion, then ended the night with worship led by Mat and his team.


Plenty of "Thank You's" to share:
a. Angela and everyone who helped in the Children's Ministry.
b. Joey with Awaken Coffee.
c. Judy, Jen and everyone who helped with organizing and serving dinner.
d. Mat, Alex, Josiah, and Nathan with leading worship.
e. Ray and Dan with sound.
f. Chris M, Brian R. and everyone else we're forgetting to mention that helped with set-up and tear-down.
g. Alanna with the Welcome Table.
h. All who helped with the overhead projector during worship.


I'm sure we're forgetting to thank someone because it takes all of us to make our Sunday Night Gatherings a complete success. So..THANKS TO EVERYONE! Below are a few more pictures and video's from last night - enjoy!

If in anyway you are able to help provide any of the below items please feel free to bring them Sunday and place them in the Community Needs Offering Box so they can be placed into the hands of individuals and families that need them most. 12th: (Easter Sunday) Ham, dinner rolls, mashed potato's and salad, Easter candy
19th: Spaghetti with bread and salad, dessert
26th: Ham or Turkey sandwiches, chips and cookies
